OUR STORY
For Cindy, a career in home design and improvement really first began as a little girl, when she would rearrange all of the furniture in her bedroom, organize the closet and create new ways to make that special room unique and cozy. From there it continued from apartment to apartment, then home to home where her love for creating beautiful and warm spaces flourished and friends began asking for design advice and help. They also noticed Cindy's love and eye for turning outdoor spaces into a private vacation oasis with her some 200 potted plants and trees and a Spanish fountain dripping in succulents and they sought guidance.
Finding what touches the heart and soul in every room and every space continues to guide Cindy's passion as a professional and certified home stager and redesign stylist.
Before turning her passion for design into a profession, Cindy first pursued her other love, storytelling, as an award-winning broadcast journalist TV and Radio news anchor and reporter across the country. She has interviewed more than 60,000 people of all walks of life, and that ability to listen and talk to anyone guides her through each home staging and redesign project, showing sensitivity and warmth.

From 2005 to 2015 Cindy was a favorite and recognized resource for all things home improvement throughout Southern California, and later throughout the nation, as she hosted her own HGTV for Radio style Home and Lifestyle talk show in Los Angeles, "Home Wizards" with the mantra, Improve Your Home. Improve Your Life. The show was syndicated and heard in more than half of the country as Cindy’s following grew.
With a deep love for home design and a knack for knowing how to make any room more livable, Cindy founded Storybook Styling, staging, styling and redesigning homes and businesses with a mission statement: Unlocking Happily Ever After. Whether it’s staging and styling for a realtor, the seller or a business, redesigning for the homeowner, or organization and holiday décor help, Storybook Styling finds the heart and beauty in every room to capture your storybook ending.
