What fun we had staging this historic and colorful 1950s Mid-Century Modern home in Temple City, CA. We embraced the existing avocado wall color inside and the vivid aqua, lime and tangerine on the pool deck with a whimsy Tiki statue that takes you to a tropical place. From a fluffy white shag rug and classic space-age coffee table and vintage to the period blue glass vases, to the dining table with a sputnik chandelier and nearby bar with photos of Palm Springs circa 1950 and a “Madmen” cocktail and cookbook, this home is perfect for entertaining and sharing happy memories with family and friends.  The family room with an authentic Tiki bar and elegant orange velvet chairs and dark leather sofa all play into the spirit of this popular time period.  We are thrilled our staging touched a nerve among homebuyers and in one week the home sold after 75 showings, 21 offers, with more than a dozen of them over the asking price.
